This beautiful table was first launched 15 years ago as part of the original DAVIDSON collection, which had a strong Art Deco influence. Since then, the Grace has been relaunched in a number of exciting finishes, each one offering a different look from the last, and continues to be a best seller.
The soft, curved shape of the pedestal and width of the frieze is highly influenced by the Art Deco period of the 1920s and 1930s. The table has previously been made up to 7 metres as a beautiful banquet table and can also be made as an extending version, where a subtop is required to house a series of interlocking runners that open and close to take extra leaves.
A true DAVIDSON classic inspired by the beautiful Art Deco furniture and interiors of renowned Parisian-born designer Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann. Ruhlmann’s legacy lives on and in 2009 he was named 'Art Deco’s greatest artist' by the New York Times.
For maximum glamour, opt for the full works, as shown here in high gloss sycamore black with a polished brass moulding to the lower table edge, castellated central blocks to both pedestals, and polished brass toes. The Grace can be fully customised to include as much or as little metal detailing as required.
For a softer yet equally luxurious look, opt for central blocks in a gilded finish.
With a simple change of finish, the entire look and feel of the piece can change and, over the years, the Grace table has been relaunched in a variety of different finishes. Available with metal detailing or gilding for an extra dose of glamour.
